Overview

Curenza (“Curenza”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have when you use our Platform.

This policy applies to healthcare professionals, recruiters, and visitors who interact with the Curenza website, mobile applications, and related services. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here. For the rules that govern your use of the Platform, see our Terms & Conditions.

02

Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Information you provide — name, contact details, password, role, profile information, work history, education, qualifications, license or registration numbers, identity documents, profile photos, salary expectations, availability, applications, messages, and any other content you submit.
  • Information from recruiters — organisation name, accreditation details, specialisations, role descriptions, branch and contact information, and applicant feedback.
  • Automatically collected data — IP address, device and browser information, operating system, referral source, pages visited, time spent, and interactions with the Platform.
  • Information from third parties — for example, identity verification providers, registration councils, or services that help us prevent fraud and abuse.
03

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and maintain your account and verify your identity.
  • Match healthcare professionals with relevant opportunities and present applicants to recruiters.
  • Operate core Platform features — search, applications, messaging, saved jobs, availability, profile dashboards, and analytics.
  • Maintain platform integrity by detecting fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
  • Communicate with you about your account, applications, security alerts, and product updates.
  • Improve and personalise the Platform, including understanding how features are used and developing new ones.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
04

How we share information

We share information only as necessary to operate the Platform and respect user expectations:

  • With recruiters and healthcare professionals — when you apply to a role, save a job, or send a message, the relevant counterpart receives the information needed to evaluate or respond to it.
  • With service providers — including hosting, analytics, payment processing, email, identity verification, and customer support partners. These providers are bound by confidentiality and may only use information to deliver services to Curenza.
  • For legal reasons — when required to comply with applicable law, valid legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of users and the Platform.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, provided the recipient is bound by privacy obligations consistent with this policy.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

05

Storage and security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information — including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege principles, and regular reviews of our security practices.

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

06

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform. We may retain certain information after account closure to: (a) comply with legal or regulatory obligations, (b) resolve disputes, (c) prevent fraud or abuse, and (d) preserve aggregated insights that no longer identify you.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it in line with our retention schedule.

07

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand usage patterns, and improve the Platform. Some cookies are essential to the Platform’s operation; others help us measure and improve performance.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit functionality — for example, you may need to sign in repeatedly or lose access to specific features.

08

Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
  • Withdraw consent where we rely on consent to process your information.
  • Request a copy of your information in a portable format.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.

09

Communications

We send transactional messages — for example, account confirmations, application updates, and security alerts — that are necessary to operate your account and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

With your permission, we may also send product updates, recommendations, and promotional content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by updating your notification preferences.

10

Third-party services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrations with services we do not control — for example, video meeting tools, document signing, or payment gateways. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to review.

We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

11

International transfers

If we transfer or process personal information outside the country in which you are located — for example, through cloud providers or analytics partners — we put in place safeguards consistent with applicable data protection law, including contractual commitments from recipients.

12

Children’s privacy

The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.

13

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice — for example, via email or an in-app notification — and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect signifies acceptance of the updated policy.
